Opening Drive (Oct. 4): Moving day

With more than 95 percent of games this week being region tilts, it’s a pretty important week across the state for playoff positioning. In some of the smaller regions, several teams either have already clinched playoff spots or can do so tonight with wins.

In larger regions, it’s a make-or-break week for a lot of teams either hoping to win their region, get a first-round playoff game or simply play an 11th game this season.

However, we begin with some tough news out of Rockvale, and we all hope for the best for the Rice family.
